Even though their was adverse weather conditions we thoroughly enjoyed our escape. I counted 28 swans while looking off a bridge just upstream. The second day of our trip the river opened up and swans flew and swam up and down the river. Along with them were golden eye ducks all diving down for food. We grilled steaks, brats and burgers. We watched several movies we never saw before. I hiked out onto high falls reservoir from a boat landing. We even fished off the pier for a bit before returning to the warmth of the cottage. It felt great to take in the fresh air and nature around us. We can't wait to go back! Hurry and book now before the swans are gone for the season.

I recently enjoyed an amazing weekend of trail riding, fishing, and hiking with friends and family. You can do the same by booking our riverfront cottage. ATV/snowmobile trails are at the end of the driveway. Muskie fishing is on and there's a tournament on high falls reservoir this weekend.
