Well, we announced we were closing but we just can't bring ourselves to give it up. So many people and families have told us how special and peaceful our home is. And, of course, it's so special to us.

We are pivoting to attract guests who wish to stay 30+ days for a very reasonable rate over the shorter stays.

For now, we will also continue to host stays of 3 nights or more.

Please spread the word. We are fighting hard to make this work!

We want to thank all of you for your support during these last 5 years. We took a crazy idea and made it a reality and we continue to be amazed at the support our families, the community, and our guests have given us. We love you all.
At this time, we have made the extremely difficult decision to close The Cottage after our final booking in January. The cost of running a business from 900 miles away is no longer sustainable. We had a good run and we THANK YOU!
That being said, if you were planning on coming to visit us, please make a reservation as soon as possible. If you book through our direct website it saves us both so much on platform user fees. We will officially close Jan 31st.
