From the beginning, our direct flights to & from Tocumen via BWI made things easy. The accommodations (Radisson, Gamboa Reserve, & Westin) were all wonderful! The order, as listed, in which we stayed at these hotels provided the perfect sequence of experiences, i.e. getting our "bearings" at the Radisson including Susie seeing the small bay where she lifeguarded in the summer after graduating from Cristobal H.S. in 1977; waking to the beautiful sunrises and the cool sounds of the Howler Monkeys at the Gamboa Reserve; and, at the Westin, thoroughly enjoying the "Premium Package" which I believe you threw in, Kristen... that was OVER THE TOP!
The pick-ups & transfers between all the locations ran like clockwork with nice, comfortable vehicles. It was great not having to drive and deal with a rental car pick-up, gassing, returning it on time, etc. All the drivers were friendly and accommodating.
The varied tours we took, i.e. the tram & sloth sanctuary at Gamboa and the full day boating around the San Blas Islands were all interesting, scenic, & lots of fun! To at least my surprise, other than a few drops here-n-there, we did not get rained on while out-n-about on these adventures... a few pictures are below.
