Happy New Year! Hope you had a Wonderful Holiday! Ed and I have been busy exploring Tennessee and wanted to update you on what we have found. The pristine rivers and lakes continue to amaze us. The gorgeous mountain tops and valleys are breath taking. Our love of Country Music has grown and we did not know there were so many BBQ restaurants in one state! Best of all, the people are kind and caring.

The best secret we have discovered is a wonderful mountain community with over 100 miles of hiking trails including several gorgeous waterfalls and rock climbing for Ed! Great street biking, pool and several parks where you can just sit back and watch the world go by or use the gig speed Internet. As I write this, a state of the art gym is being built, with a restaurant and cafe to follow. If any of you are looking for a unique community, send me a private message and I will let you in our discovery!

Our 2019 Wish for you is that you find that special place!

To All of Our Treasured Guests,

Ed and I have some exciting news! We have sold our property as a private residence. We feel confident the new owner will maintain the historical integrity of the property and be a pillar in the community.

During our years of operating the Inn we have hosted thousands of guests from around the globe, many of whom we consider personal friends and will remain friends for years to come.

We are beginning our next adventure which includes a new residence in Tennessee. We are looking forward to traveling and visiting our life long friend we made during our time as Innkeepers. Ed is continuing his pursuit of mountain climbing and you will find Debbie in the garden or trying a new recipe.

One of our guest favorite things to do at Shellmont Inn is to sit back on one of porches or verandas and watch the world go by. Well we are ready for you, porches painted and decked out with our favorite flowers.
