Free movies!

FREE SUMMER SHOWS AGAIN FOR 2022!!! We hope you will join us on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings at 10:30 this summer for our FREE summer series at Atlantic Station Cinema. We have a good lineup of movies headed your way! We will make every effort to continue our tradition of offering this series free of charge each summer but current economy conditions are making this very challenging. We will have our snack bar open for refreshments and hope you will help support us by purchasing some fresh popped popcorn and a nice cold drink or Icee. It’s what we’ve all been waiting for! The last round in our March Animal Madness: Birds versus Fish! It's time for Round 7 and we have our bird winner versus our fish winner. Which will be the campion? That’s for you to decide!

Let’s recap:

Red-tailed hawks are coming in with talons that can reach over an inch long. They have a grip of 200 pounds per square inch. Want to know how well they can see? Eight times better than humans! They can spot a mouse from 100 feet in the air.

The porcupine pufferfish, when threatened, will suck in water or air to inflate its body and make its spines stand out. Does that fish look like it's smiling? Well, it has beak-like teeth used to crush hard-shelled food like crabs, clams, and sea urchins.
