The Sanctuary in Attica Bed & Breakfast The Sanctuary is a luxurious, very private B&B housed in an old church built in 1891, designed to provide Rest, Retreat, and Restoration for our guests.

Please contact us by phone or email if you are interested in staying. In 2007 we (Dave & Paula) purchased the original Christian Church located in Attica, Indiana, built in 1891. Our vision was to create a space where we could host house concerts & dinners and eventually create a unique bed & breakfast where people would come for rest, retreat, and restoration. We began calling our church/home “Th

e Sanctuary" and gave it the tag line: "Where Souls Are Restored".

Since 2007 we have created a kitchen/great room for entertaining, replaced the roof, restored the stain-glassed windows (outside), tuck-pointed and sealed the foundation, created a patio for outdoor entertaining, and installed a new HVAC system. We have hosted concerts, dinners & retreats, and hosted numerous community events at The Sanctuary. In 2016-17 we renovated the inside creating a unique luxury bed & breakfast. We say unique because while everyone is invited to stay at The Sanctuary, our primary purpose is to provide a place where those who are giving their lives creating Shalom with the marginalized people of this world and those who live in the hard places of this world can escape and find rest and peace for their minds, bodies, and souls. We also have a special place in our hearts for the creatives of this world. So The Sanctuary is also designed as a place where writers, artists, and musicians will find the stillness needed to free their minds for the creative process, along with the tools needed to write and create. In December, 2020 we added a new west facing patio with a hot tub under a gazebo. The perfect compliment to our B&B.

Join us at The Sanctuary (208 S. Brady Street, Attica, IN 47019) on Thursday, August 6th or Friday, August 7th at 7pm for one of our final house concerts. Snacks & Drinks will be provided. (Because of limited space, we request attendees be 12 years of age or older.)
*DOORS OPEN AT 6:30PM

A $10 (or more) donation is requested at the door.

19 years ago Dave & Paula Clark purchased what we now call The Sanctuary in Attica. Within the first year we hosted our first of many House Concerts. We thought it only fitting that our final House Concerts feature the musicians who joined us for that first House Concert, who we have had the privilege of writing and performing music with for almost 25 years. In our polarized country, Paula and I want to be an example of providing space for dialogue regardless of your political persuasion.
