🇺🇸 HOW DO YOU ENJOY YOUR LABOR DAY? 🇺🇸

At The Retreat, we think a day off calls for a little fun, a little relaxation, and plenty of time outside!

Maybe your Labor Day looks like:
🏊‍♀️ Poolside lounging
🚶 A relaxing stroll around the community
🚙 Cruising around on the golf cart
🎾 A game of pickleball
⛳ A round of mini golf
🛝 Playground fun
🐾 A visit to the dog park
🌳 Hanging out with friends
…or simply enjoying a slow day at home.

Of course, the Labor Day Chili Cook-Off is happening TODAY at 1 PM in the Shady Creek Courtyard!🌶️🏆

Come see who takes home 1st, 2nd & 3rd place, then grab some Frito pie + drinks, which will be served at the Shady Creek Event Center.

However you celebrate, we hope your Labor Day is filled with good food, good company, and a whole lot of relaxing. 🇺🇸💙😊

It’s FRIDAY, which means Labor Day Weekend is officially here!🇺🇸

Is there really a better way to spend a long weekend than arriving at The Retreat, settling in, and immediately switching into vacation mode?

Pool time. Pickleball. Mini golf. A little lounging. A little sunshine. A little grilling. Maybe a whole lot of doing absolutely nothing.☀️

But if you’re looking to venture out for a little local fun, here’s your weekend lineup:

🛍️ TONIGHT: Celina’s Friday Night Market is back with 60+ vendors, live music, and lots of good food!

🎤 TOMORROW: Head over to Legacy Hall in Plano for a Dolly Parton Tribute Event* celebrating the music and legacy of the country icon. *Tickets can be purchased online

☀️ SUNDAY: Come back to The Retreat and enjoy a slower day. Hit the pool, challenge someone to pickleball, play a round of mini golf, or simply soak up the last bit of the long weekend.

🌶️ MONDAY: Join us for our Labor Day Chili Cook-Off at 1:00 PM at the Shady Creek Courtyard! Come hungry and ready to taste some chili.

Good food, good fun, sunshine, and an extra day to relax? Sounds like a pretty great Labor Day Weekend to us. 🇺🇸🎉😊

And honestly…pickleball just hits a little different when the air starts getting crisp. 😉🎾 We may have a few more weeks of Texas heat ahead of us, but we’re already dreaming of cooler mornings, comfortable evenings, and that first little hint of fall.

Will you be staying with us at The Retreat this September? We’d love to know when we’ll see you! 👇🏻
