A Tribute to a Game-Day Legend

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of a true fixture of our Eagle’s Landing family, Buddy Belcher.

For years, football season at the park didn’t truly start until Buddy pulled in. He was one of our most loyal guests, returning season after season to cheer on his team and bring that unmistakable game-day energy to our community.

Whether he was firing up the grill, talking stats by the fire, or offering a friendly War Eagle to a neighbor, his presence made the Saturdays here special. He wasn’t just a guest; he was a vital part of our traditions.

The park will feel a little different this coming fall without him. As the leaves change and the stadiums fill up, we will be holding a spot in our hearts for our dear friend.

To his family: We are so grateful you chose to spend your seasons with us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To our football family: Let’s raise a glass (or a tailgate chair) to a man who lived for the game and the community he found here.

Rest easy, Buddy Belcher. We’ll save a seat for you at the kickoff. 🦅🏈
