Canby Rental & Equipment, Inc. We are a family owned local business specializing in the rental, sales and repair of power equipment. Our motto: We'll take care of it!

In 1979, Duane & Bonnie Zacher purchased a small-engine repair shop in downtown Canby called the Power Shop. Four-plus decades of hard work and determination later, the Zacher family still runs that shop, now known as Canby Rental & Equipment, Inc. Today, their grandson Matt, is the third generation to oversee Canby Rental & Equipment, and serve the Canby community. This small-engine repair business has expanded to included rentals of everything from lawn & garden equipment to home remodel and construction tools, and even some party supplies. New equipment is also sold here, with an impressive line-up of quality mowers and outdoor power tools from some of the biggest names in the power equipment industry. Stihl, Toro, Exmark, S**g, Husqvarna, Honda, Multiquip, and BCS, just to name a few. Canby Rental & Equipment also offers sales, parts, and service for the following brands: Honda engines, Briggs & Stratton, Tecumseh, Kohler, and Kawasaki engines, and can meet your needs for many others. The mowing season is coming to an end, which means we have some End of Season Savings to be had! We've already received notice for increases in 2027, which means everything brought in next year is potentially going to be anywhere from 2%-5% higher depending on brand/model.
Why wait? Why not take advantage now and save a little money instead of paying MORE next year? We can't control what the manufacturers do, but we can control our current inventory.
