We’ve had to cancel this year’s Spring Road Run/Walk fundraiser.

We’re still so grateful for your support, and there are still lots of ways to give and stay connected with Camp, and every bit makes a difference.

And don’t worry… we’ll be back on the trails this fall 🍂

Stay tuned for details on our Fall Trail Run in September!

Working at a Camp Gregory is an experience that will stick with you for life—for good reason. Here are some of the biggest benefits

🌅 1. You get a unique, beautiful workplace

Instead of an office or classroom, you’re surrounded by water, trees, and fresh air. Daily lake activities like swimming, kayaking, or paddleboarding become part of your routine—not a vacation.

👶 2. You make a real impact on kids

Camps are where kids build confidence, friendships, and independence. As a counselor, you’re not just supervising—you’re mentoring and shaping experiences they’ll remember forever.

🤝 3. You build strong friendships

Living and working closely with other staff creates fast, deep bonds. Many people leave camp with lifelong friends because of the shared challenges and fun.

💪 4. You develop valuable life skills

You’ll naturally grow in:
• Leadership
• Communication
• Problem-solving
• Conflict resolution
• Responsibility

These skills transfer well to almost any future job.

🌊 5. You stay active and outdoors

If you enjoy being on the water, this is a huge plus. You’ll be moving, playing, and exploring all day instead of sitting behind a desk.

🎉 6. Every day is different

One day might be canoe races, the next campfire nights or talent shows. The variety keeps things exciting and prevents burnout.

📵 7. A break from screens and routine

You’re more present, more social, and more connected to your surroundings.

🧭 8. It helps you grow personally

Being responsible for kids, and adapting to situations, pushes you out of your comfort zone—in a good way.

❤️ 9. It’s genuinely fun and meaningful

It’s hard work. You’ll laugh a lot, get a little messy, and walk away with stories you’ll tell for years.
