Meet the staff! Please welcome our camp cook, Kurt!

Hey everyone,
I’m from Deansboro, NY and I havent worked at a camp before, but I have been to many; I've been an outdoorsman/wilderness survival guy my whole life, and I’ve got some good stories.

I'm excited to make some good grub for y'all! I enjoy cooking for people. And hey, if you have any input or suggestions, I'll do my best to try to squeeze them in!

What I do outside of camp. I enjoy a few instruments, like guitar, and I really enjoy games of physics, such as bocce, axe throwing, frisbee, and building balanced rock sculptures.

Meet the staff! Up next we have a long time camper-turned-counselor, Allison!

Hello everyone! My name is Allison and I’m from Scipio center. This is my first year working at camp and I’m super excited!

Outside of camp, I enjoy playing my saxophone, playing tennis, and spending time with friends.

I am most excited for campfires, canoeing and to make fun memories with coworkers and campers throughout the summer.

Meet the staff! Please welcome our 2026 head counselor, Ian!

Ian is back for his 2nd season at Camp Gregory, this year as our head counselor. Not only will you see Ian leading groups of campers in activities, but he will also be lifeguarding down at the waterfront!

Ian’s favorite camp activities are swimming, boating, gaga ball, and field activities. Outside of camp, Ian is a 2026 Southern Cayuga graduate where he swam, ran cross country and track, and participated in band. In the community, he also works at the Inns of Aurora. Next year he plans to attend Clarkson University to study biochemistry.

Ian is most excited to see familiar camp faces, like Finn (pictured below), and meet new campers and staff this summer. He’s also looking forward to fun and safe water activities!

Hi everyone! I’m most excited about getting to know all of our campers, creating unforgettable memories, and watching everyone grow in confidence while having fun together this summer.

Outside of camp, I enjoy spending time outdoors, connecting with friends and family, and pursuing opportunities that allow me to learn, lead, and give back to my community.

Meet the staff! Next we have a new counselor face at camp, Owen!

Hi everyone, my name is Owen and I’m from Scipio Center. This is my first year as a counselor and I’m excited to be joining the team.

In the fall, I’ll be attending SUNY Oswego where I’ll be studying Business Management. Outside of camp, I enjoy cars and spending time with my friends and family.

My favorite camp activity is making s’mores, and I’m looking forward to meeting everyone and helping make camp a fun and memorable experience.

Meet the staff! Next up, we have Raymond, a counselor returning for his 2nd summer at Camp Gregory!

Hi guys! My name is Raymond, I’m an Audio Engineer and I’ve been camper since I was a kid. I like the wildlife and the appreciation for the nature.
I’m from Dominican Republic 🪇🎺🇩🇴 I’m currently living in Utica NY and I’m so excited to be back to camp gregory to enjoy with the campers and talk around the bonfire aswell(that’s my favorite part🤫) I can’t wait to see you guys and teach some Spanish phrases as well.

Meet your 2026 directors, Lily and Brett!

Lily is returning for her 7th season on staff and 4th season as Camp Director. Some of her favorite camp traditions are sleeping under the stars, canoeing to Long Point, Suzie and Steve sticks, and the Thursday night dance! She’s most excited to see the campers and families that she has grown so close to over the years. Outside of camp, Lily teaches band and coaches volleyball at Southern Cayuga. She’s looking forward to another amazing summer at her favorite place!

Brett is returning for his 2nd season, this time in a dual role. As last season’s Waterfront Director, Brett is also adding Program Director to his long list of titles! Brett is looking forward to polar bear plunges, canoe sessions, waterfront activities, and s'more's by the campfire. He is thrilled to be welcoming members from both the Cayuga County Dairy Promotion Team and Sheriff’s Office, the local FFA Officer team, Mike the Magician, REPCO Reptile Experience, and hosting a trip to a local 4H fair. Brett’s close ties to our community are making camp the hub this summer! Outside of camp, Brett teaches at Southern Cayuga, leads FFA, coaches cross country, swim, and track, and also further pursues his own higher education. Brett is thrilled to be back this season and is looking forward to growing our community connections!

We’ve had to cancel this year’s Spring Road Run/Walk fundraiser.

We’re still so grateful for your support, and there are still lots of ways to give and stay connected with Camp, and every bit makes a difference.

And don’t worry… we’ll be back on the trails this fall 🍂
