Have fun, be nice, drink margs. New Waterloo presents: Marg Madness, our first-but-not-last bar crawl for a cause, benefiting Justice for Our Neighbors Austin.

Imbibe in Austin’s favorite drink all over the city and take home serious bragging rights, a custom hat you can’t live without, and the chance to win a 2-night stay at South Congress Hotel.

🍹 Tip off Tuesday, March 18th at participating Austin properties: sway, Il Brutto, La Condesa, Maie Day, Watertrade, Cafe No Se, South Congress Hotel’s Lobby Bar, and Mañana. Pick up a card at any location, order the featured margarita and earn a sticker, then sip + repeat at all locations through March 31st. A fully stickered card - all 8 margs! - gets you a limited-edition Marg Madness hat + raffle entry for a 2 night stay with valet at South Congress Hotel.

A portion of marg sales will be donated to Justice for Our Neighbors, a non-profit law office that welcomes immigrants and refugees into our communities through free, high-quality immigration legal services, advocacy, and education.

This is the first visit that the MICHELIN Guide has made to Texas, and we couldn't be more proud that Chefs Rick Lopez, Michael Fojtasek, and their remarkable teams are included among the world’s best restaurants, showcasing exceptional hospitality, culinary excellence, and outstanding cuisine. This achievement is the result of years of hard work, passion, and unwavering commitment to honing their craft and providing the best dining experiences possible.

Additional congrats to Chef Michael on receiving his first MICHELIN Star for his outstanding work at Olamaie. We’re honored to continue partnering with him at the Albert Hotel in Fredericksburg, coming January 2025

Earlier this month, Chef Rick Lopez from La Condesa and Chef Erind Halilaj from Il Brutto led masterclasses through Good Work Austin's Culinary Workforce Training program. Thank you so much to for the opportunity to collaborate and connect with the next generation of hospitality industry workers!

You can catch both chefs plus other members of the New Waterloo family, Chefs Yoshi Okai from Otoko and Frank Harris from Sway Thai at March of Dimes' Signature Chefs Gala this evening, raising funds to support Texas parents and babies.
