East Austin is famous for breakfast tacos but that's not all our neighborhood has to offer for the most important meal of the day!

Start your morning at Cenote on East 7th, a woman-owned East Austin institution since 2012 with migas, chilaquiles, and breakfast plates from 7am.

Order the b.e.c. sandwich or steak and eggs at Paperboy on East 11th, and add a blueberry-lemon pop tart.

Try the bruleed Texas ruby red grapefruit and buttermilk pancakes with Mexican vanilla at Hillside Farmacy, a 1920s pharmacy turned farm-to-table spot.

Pick up vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free breakfast at Gati Cafe on Holly St, from gluten-free cinnamon rolls to Singaporean laksa and espresso from local roaster Greater Goods.

Get the migas taco on corn with a watermelon agua fresca at Veracruz All Natural, the woman-owned taco empire making scratch corn tortillas in East Austin since 2008.
