"How can we turn one new family into several more families joining?"

The best source of new members is often the families who are already experiencing Scouting.

When a new family joins, don't just welcome them into the unit, help them become part of the Scouting story. A positive experience creates excitement, and excitement is something people naturally want to share.

Start by making sure new families feel connected. Introduce them to other families, include them in conversations, invite them to activities, and help them build friendships. People stay where they feel they belong.

Then, encourage them to share their experience with others.

A simple conversation can open the door:

"Our family just joined Scouting, and my child is having a great time. You should come check it out with us."

Families trust other families. A personal invitation from someone they know is often more powerful than any flyer, advertisement, or social media post.

The goal isn't to ask every new family to become a recruiter. It's to create an experience so meaningful that they naturally want others to be part of it.

This week, challenge yourself to ask a current family, "Who is one person you know who would love Scouting as much as your family does?"

One family can become the connection that brings the next family, and the next.

🌦️ All Camps are still on and operating as planned! 🏕️

Our camp staff is closely monitoring weather and environmental conditions throughout the day to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. If conditions change, we are prepared to adjust activities and programming as needed to keep our campers and staff safe.

We look forward to another great day of Scouting adventure at camp!

🎉 We had an amazing first session of Cub Scout Summer Camp, filled with outdoor adventures, new friendships, and unforgettable memories!

Now, Session 2 is in full swing, and our campers are already having a blast exploring everything camp has to offer. We can't wait to see what adventures the rest of the week brings!
