Avalon Historical Society is hosting its nineteenth annual Olde House Tour on Friday, June 19 from 1 to 4pm. This is an exceptional walking tour that shows early Avalon “treasures”. Since we are celebrating the 50th year of America we are featuring the four churches of Avalon that were built 1892 thru 1928. These four churches are still worshiping today, two year-round and two thru the summers. Also being featured are three beautiful homes built 1907 thru 1935. See how these early Avalon homes are brought into the twenty-first century, with their unique transformations. Chair Rose Marie Chew refers to these homes as the “Treasures of Avalon”, and the homeowners are happy to share them with you.
