Hello Avery! We were lucky to be selected by the CDA Magazine to be in their Summer/Fall publication! Page 60 or so. We were blessed to have the opportunity to visit for the past week! The flowers are still in full bloom and the grass is a beautiful green carpet. The cabins and grounds have quite a few new updates and additions. Ron and Allison have done a wonderful job. We felt so at home finally getting to experience this piece of heaven as a guest!

The Lindens sent us this beautiful COOL crisp morning picture of 40 degrees! Just to remind us of what we are missing. As we sit here in Texas at 90+ degrees already. Heat index today is 114! We are under an extreme heat advisory! Sure do miss this little piece of Heaven! Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸

Randy and I are so very sad that we will be missing scenes like this ! We have made a very difficult decision to stay in Texas this season due to some family illnesses and my knee injury. We will however be visiting in August as actual guests in the cabins!!

Just looked 🤩at the calendar and it appears we are booking up FAST! Meanwhile Randy and I are looking forward to getting back to Avery where we can slow down . Our life here in Texas is of course much warmer and much more hectic but sure enjoy the time with all the Grands! See you all at Cabins by the Joe in June!

Merry Christmas to all of our Idaho Friends and Family!
Santa was very good to Randy and I and hooked me up with my very own fly fishing gear and added to Randy’s rigging! We are excited to return for another summer so I can learn to fly fish too! Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas Day!

Yesterday was bittersweet as we said goodbye to our Idaho home for the past 6 months. We have grown to love this state, especially the people of Avery and St. Maries! We are anxious to get back to our home state of Texas for a few months to see our family however, We do plan to return as camp hosts next June! A big thank you to Jody and Kelly for making this such a wonderful adventure for us! See you all next summer! Randy and Mariann
