Depending on the time of year, you can witness the nesting or hatching of loggerhead turtles. Pods of dolphins and occasionally whales and spinner sharks are visible from the deck. Magnificent sunrises, sunsets, and rainbows paint the sky. A private path between the dunes -- covered in sea oats and blanket flowers and traversed by deer -- lead to a wide, sandy beach. There are days when you can see exactly where the warm, blue waters of the Gulf Stream meet the green, cold Labrador current.
