🌊 The 2026 Big Kahuna T-Shirt (2nd Edition) will arrive April 2026! 🌊

Each year we release a limited-edition Big Kahuna shirt, and once they’re gone… they’re gone. Many guests collect them year after year as a piece of their Outer Banks memories.

This year’s design is extra special to our family. The artwork was inspired by a painting created by our daughter, and the original piece will be proudly displayed in the beach house this season. Seeing her creativity become part of the Big Kahuna tradition means the world to us.

The beach has always been about family, sunsets, waves, and the memories we create together, and this shirt celebrates that spirit.

Renovation updates!! In the brief interval between vacation bookings, our team of contractors upgraded the property with new windows and replaced the molding and insulation around the windows to create a cozy winter haven for our guests near the beach.

We also upgraded the lighting on the ramp, front deck, and driveway area with motion-detecting lights, providing our guests with convenient lighting while preserving the dark skies for stargazing.

We’ve added colorful, vintage dishware and linens to set a cozy, coastal Thanksgiving table, and stocked the kitchen with everything you’ll need to prepare your holiday feast.
