Looking for something fun this week? A fan of woodfire pizza? Or challenging yourself and your family in the woods?

TUESDAY: Join us for lunch as we make pizzas in our woodfire-oven.
Ages: All
Cost: $10 per pizza, each is personal sized to be enough for an adult meal.
Registration deadline: Please let us know by 8AM on the 28th so we can get supplies and account for dietary restrictions.

THURSDAY: Join us for one of our most popular classes, Charlie to Base! You’ll start by getting a crash course in orienteering, then will be given a map, a compass, and a walkie talkie as you try and find your way along a course in the Deep Portage woods. Bring your team of 2+ people.
Ages: 8 and up
Cost: Free will donation
Bring: Long pants, water bottle, bug spray

What is Deep Portage? We are an environmental learning center set on 6,307 acres of public land in between Hackensack, Longville, and Pine River. During the school year we stay busy with overnight school groups from across the state who come to stay and learn about nature. In the summer we have camps, primarily hunter education based, as well as programs for the public.

Sandy Pines Resort is excited to announce new ownership: Paula, Jim, Cassie & Kristina Woischke along with our four dogs!

The weather is heating up and Sweetheart Days are in full swing! Tonight, enjoy the Lakeside Concert Series as they present Josh Duffee and his 80’s tribute band. Grab your lawn chair, head to the park and prepare for some awesome music. We will be serving ice cold craft beer and will have soft drinks and water for sale. Look for us under the red tent!

Tomorrow there are many things happening! Check the schedule below and plan your day - don’t forget to plan time for R&R at Rendezvous. Try out new Blue Ox Brew and enjoy the day.

Sunday we are hosting the “Growing up in Hackensack” reunion for all ages. Stop in and reconnect with old friends or meet new ones. Bring your yearbooks or other memorabilia. It is a great time to celebrate your hometown.

Happy July!! There are so many things going on I had to update the calendar mid-week.

Yesterday’s food truck, Iwona’s, hit it out of the ballpark with their polish sausages and Pierogies. If you missed them, never fear, they will be back on July 7th. Everything was authentic, fresh and tasty!

Join us in the party room today for SOCCER! We will have matches on starting at 11 and will stay open late for the USA vs Bosnia and Herzegov, which starts at 7 pm. Don some red, white and blue and head over to cheer them on! We will leave the taps on for you!
