We know our hospitality is great, BUT IT’S NOT FREE! 😅

To the guests who recently left the Driftwood Inn without paying their bill after a week-long stay in one of our cottages (Harborview) … we are so glad you enjoyed your time with us, but you forgot the most important part of the checkout process!
Running Driftwood takes a lot of hard work, upkeep, and—well, PAYING BILLS! If you "forgot" to pay yours, please do the right thing and call us at 207-833-5461 to settle up.
To the rest of our amazing community: Thank you for always supporting us and keeping local businesses alive!
It would be so great to get the same support from our town officials as well!

What would you all do regarding these customers (who shall remain nameless, for now) that have left without paying for their stay here at the Driftwood? We appreciate any and all suggestions you may have ☺️

In 2026, our two bedroom cabin was displaced during a storm, and we invested a significant amount to relocate it back to a higher elevation. Importantly, this was done without any public funding. However, the town of Harpswell is currently withholding our b**r and w**e license due to their concerns about the cabin's height. If you share our view that this situation is unjust, we encourage you to reach out to them at 207-833-5771.
