The Sea Salt is an ocean view, vintage 1905 Maine Cottage available for weekly or monthly rentals via Your Island Connection, June through October. Spend time relaxing and enjoying the simple life in Maine from the large front porch and deck. Take in the sunrises, ocean views and star gaze like you never have before from the open deck. Chill and unwind. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and 1/2 bathrooms, updated but maintaining the vintage character. Master bedroom (king), 2nd Bedroom (full), 3rd Bedroom (twins). Downstairs you'll find a full bathroom, and kitchen including refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee, and espresso maker. Pick up some locally caught seafood and grill it on the deck or stop by one of the local restaurants. You’ll find all the dishes, pots, pans, lobster pot and accessories for your lobster bake or sunset dinner. There's a gas grill on the deck, a gas fireplace, and auxiliary heater for a chilly night. Wireless internet and cable TV. Spotlessly clean. Not for elderly or infirm. No pets. No smoking. Children welcome. 6 person maximum. You’ll find the Giant Stairs just steps away. Spend hours in the serenity of nature listening to the waves crash on the rocks below. Excellent spot for painters and artists. Walk to the Seaside Gift Shop, featuring only Maine artists. Walk to the Bailey Island (BIGS) General Store for anything you could need. Walk to the Giant Stairs Grill for lunch or dinner. Mackerel Cove, the most photographed Cove in Maine, is 5 minutes away, where there are a public beach and boat launch. Cook's Lobster House is a 5-minute drive or 15 minute walk, where you can sample a Maine Lobster dinner, or just enjoy nightly sunsets on the deck with a cold drink. And Morse’s Cribstone Grill is just off the Cribstone Bridge serving a Lobster Bloody Mary that’s not to be missed. The city of Brunswick, home of Bowdoin College is only a 15-minute drive. Brunswick has many excellent restaurants and shops, as well as an Art Museum and summer theater. Amtrak service from Boston is available in Brunswick. Portland is about 40 minutes away, and also has Amtrak and a regional airport. Freeport Outlets, including the Flagship L.L. Bean store, is about a 25-minute drive. Come to Maine. Unwind. Disconnect.
