Sunset Shores is ready for the season! We have a new set of Adirondack chairs to relax in while enjoying the best sunset view on the peninsula and then a roaring fire to close our another busy or relaxing day in our beloved Door County!

I am the president of the HOA for Sunset Shores Resort on Kangaroo Lake. Today we have been notified that 4 of our guests from the week of 7/12-7/19 began to experience symptoms after returning home from the resort and were ultimately diagnosed with Covid-19. As a precautionary measure, the ownership has decided to close the resort for two weeks in order to quarantine the property and perform a full sanitization. While we have no reason to believe that our guests contracted the virus while visiting our resort, we believe this to be the most responsible and prudent action we can take. We will reopen on 8/9. Our 2019 guests are enjoying our new pier! It has a platform for sun bathing or fishing, a bench to enjoy sunsets, and a ladder to enter the lake.
