The Marshall Suites on Bainbridge Island is hiring full time, front desk agents! This position consists of a 20-40 hour work week with shifts 6:30AM - 2 PM, 2 PM - 10 PM, or a combination. This individual must be reliable and consistent; with a background in customer service. This individual also should be proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Drive, have intermediate level computer and problem-solving skills. At the Marshall Suites everyone works as a team to make sure our guests have the best experience possible. Benefits include uniforms, paid holidays, vacation pay, and sick pay.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Welcoming guests and visitors, Checking in and Checking out Guests
Answering phone calls, Making/Changing Reservations, Data Entry
Exhibiting Knowledge of The Marshall, Bainbridge Island and surrounding area
Organizing and Cleaning your work area

Join a great team! The Marshall Suites on Bainbridge Island is hiring.

Our boutique hotel is in need of a new housekeeper to fill either a full-time or part-time position. This consists of a 20-40 hour work week with shifts from 8 AM - 2 PM. This individual must be reliable, consistent, and familiar with manual labor. No experience is necessary but being able to lift 20 pounds, squat, kneel, and bend over on a regular basis is required. Reliable transportation as well as weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory with this position. At the Marshall Suites everyone works as a team to make sure our guests have the best experience possible. Benefits become available after a continuous length of stay and include paid holidays, uniforms, vacation pay, and sick pay.

Students in BISD's Adult Learning Program have partnered with PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap to prepare pet food donations for local food banks. So far, the students have delivered almost 450 pounds of dog food! The students will continue working with PAWS this school year, ensuring that the pets of Kitsap County are well cared for and fed.

Our History

Originally opened in 2006, the hotel was refreshed in 2018 and renamed “The Marshall Suites” to highlight the rich culture and history on Bainbridge Island. More than a century ago, many acres on Bainbridge Island were covered by fields of Marshall strawberries that were tended to and harvested by Japanese, Filipino and Native American farmers. However after WWII, the strawberry fields were abandoned and overgrown by trees. The reforested fields were covered with houses, and the Marshall strawberries were displaced by more uniform and disease resistant strawberry varieties. Today, Marshall strawberries are again highly sought after by foodies because of their sweetness. The Marshall Suites logo was designed to honor this unique part of Bainbridge Island history.
