In Broome and Chenango counties, too many of our neighborsā€”working families, seniors, and youth, and every day peopleā€”are struggling to keep up with the rising costs of basic housing and groceries. When times get tough, nobody should have to go through it alone.
Thatā€™s why weā€™re building the Echo Valley Community Foundation.
Our goal is simple: to make sure people in our area have immediate help when they need it most, and a real path toward long-term stability. We are working on two primary fronts:
ā€¢ Keeping Families Fed & Housed: Providing rapid, emergency support for local individuals facing sudden hardship, keeping food on the table and roofs overhead.
ā€¢ Building Transitional Housing: Developing affordable, supportive tiny-home housing right here in our regionā€”giving people a safe, dignified place to land, reset, and rebuild their lives.
Weā€™re currently laying the official groundwork behind the scenes to launch our programs, and we canā€™t wait to partner with local volunteers, businesses, and neighbors who share this vision.
