⚔️ The Upstate Renaissance Faire Returns!

The Upstate Renaissance Faire is bringing a weekend of medieval fun, entertainment, shopping, and adventure to the Chenango County Fairgrounds on August 29th & 30th, 2026!

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., guests can explore dozens of vendors and enjoy free shows, demonstrations, costumed characters, and plenty more throughout the faire.

The skies are putting on a show for us tonight it seems!

The June Bootids Meteor Shower Peaks Tonight! ☄️

Tonight, June 27, the June Bootids reach their peak. Known for being one of the most unpredictable shows in the sky, this shower features slow-moving, bright meteors that can leave long, beautiful trails.

⏰ Best viewing: Midnight to early morning hours
📍 Where to look: Look toward the constellation Boötes (near the Big Dipper) in the northern sky

No telescope needed! Just find a spot away from city lights, give your eyes 20–30 minutes to adjust, and enjoy.

Don't forget to look up at these beautiful shooting stars! 🌌
