On April 20, 2026, PM Dr. Lamonte Tyler made a meaningful impact at the Franciscan Center of Baltimore by donating a bag of clothing and helping serve lunch to 228 individuals. Located at 101 W. 23rd Street, the Center has long been committed to providing emergency assistance and supportive outreach to economically disadvantaged individuals, helping them restore their self-worth and dignity. The cost to the lodge was zero.

Today, the Franciscan Center continues its mission through Culinary Services, Responsive Services, and Empowerment Services, offering nutrition, human connection, and educational resources to help Baltimore residents achieve long-term self-sufficiency. The chapter’s contribution was made entirely at no cost, reflecting a strong commitment to community service and social responsibility.
