All, please stop doing credit card disputes. We should have everyone refunded in about a week. Per our cancelation policy we have 90 days to issue refunds and we have only been closed for 30. We get charged a large percentage for each dispute taking money from my family and it takes me about an hour to issue your refund this way which is making it harder to get to everyone. This is also cutting in front of everyone else in line.

All please be patient, you will get your refunds and I am going as fast as I can. I am the only one here and am busy with a lot going on including finding a place for me and my family to live. The nasty emails, PMs, voice mails and even threats need to stop. I am already completely overwhelmed and this is not helping. I apologize that you are having to change some vacation plans but please be mindful we as a family have lost everything and there is no need to kick us while we are down.

Most of the horses have been sold. But Tank is still up for sale. He is a sweet big boy part draft horse. Please PM if you are interested. We have thoroughly screened who we sold horses to and many have gone to places where you can do a trail ride with them. Here is a list of where they all ended up.

Mo, Tinta, Picaso, Dillon, Eastwood, Trigger, and Tundra went to OTX Camp (kids summer camp in bandera)
Shorty and Chance went to Twin Elms Guest Ranch
Bullseye, Tex, Duke, Olaf, Blue, Smokey, Rooster, Sunrise, Diesel, and Scooter went to private owners

With broken hearts we have had to come to the decision to permanently close Silver Spur Guest Ranch due to the COVID pandemic. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know all our guests and the friendships we have gained through serving you. If you have a reservation on file, we are working on going through and canceling them and issuing refunds. Please be patient with us as this is a large task. We are starting with the reservations with the closest check in dates. Please refrain from any negative comments as this is very hard for our family and staff and many tears have been shed. Many wonderful staff families have been affected as well as our family with 4 young children. We will be conducting an online auction in about a week for all decorations, furniture, and equipment. Keep posted for the links in the near future.

Thank you Gateway Fellowship Church Bandera. A team of about 25 came to Silver Spur Guest Ranch yesterday and helped with all our damaged pipe and many other projects. What an awesome blessing. We had 2 buildings get flooded, pipe burst all over the ranch, pool pumps cracked, a well line burst, etc. So much work was done yesterday it would have taken us quite a while to do all that. Thank you Gateway Fellowship. You guys are awesome.
