Let’s hear it for the Bandon High School boys golf team!

After capturing the Oregon 3A/2A/1A district team title last week, they’re now at Tokatee Golf Club with their sights set on a third straight state championship.

We’re not sure four Bandon caddies had “Trip to the PGA Championship” on their bingo cards this week.

From battling the elements alongside players at the PGA Professional Championship here at home to preparing for one of golf’s four majors at Aronimink Golf Club, it’s been a wild ride and a reminder of the skill and artistry it takes to caddie at Bandon Dunes.

We're proud of every caddie who supported the PGA Professional Championship, and excited to see these four on the bag this week at the PGA Championship.

The winter months leading into April and May are an incredibly important stretch of the year for our agronomy teams. They are constantly mixing in long-term goals like tee leveling, gorse mitigation, aerifications, and bunker restorations like the one we see here on Bandon Dunes No. 12, all while Mother Nature deals some of the most unpredictable weather that tests even the most tenured souls.

Whether it's getting ready for the PGA Professional Championship like we hosted this past month, or preparing the courses for everyday play, let's give a shout out to the teams on the ground working hand-in-hand to nurture the nature that is always evolving around us.
