Dear Louis Manzo and everyone at North Star Lodge,
I want to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kindness and
compassion you showed me when I needed it most.
That day, I was sitting in the Hannaford parking lot, feeling lost and worried. My
great-grandchildren were coming to visit me for the first time in nine years, and I had no money
and no way to prepare for Easter with them. I didn’t know what I was going to do.
Then Louis, you came to my window and simply asked if I was alright. That small act of care
meant more than I can put into words. In a moment when I felt invisible and overwhelmed, you
saw me. Your kindness and willingness to help turned a very difficult situation into one filled with
hope.
Because of you and the support from North Star Lodge, I was able to face that moment with
dignity and comfort instead of fear. What you did for me wasn’t just help—it was a reminder that
there are still good people in the world who truly care about others.
I will never forget your generosity, and I will carry that kindness with me always. Thank you for
being there for me when I needed it most, and for helping make a special time with my
great-grandchildren possible.

The Brothers of Northstar Lodge # 22 F & A.M. would like to thank all of our supporters over the years who have graciously contributed to our community events and initiatives. We are humbled by your continued support. This year, Northstar Lodge # 22 F & A.M. has chosen to continue our support for The Boys & Girls Club of Bangor. We will be collecting donations in $5.00 increments to support Christmas vacation programs at The Boys & Girls Club of Bangor

During the Christmas break The Boys & Girls Club of Bangor will have a variety of activities to sign up for including sledding, outdoor recreation, visits to The Maine Discovery Museum, Black Bear Cinemas, & much much more. We ask that you please join us in our support for this incredible community based organization.

Today Brothers of North Star Lodge #22 had the honor of having one of our own raised in the presence of members of The Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge Jurisdiction of Massachusetts 5th District & Mount Zion Lodge 15 as well as a remarkable showing of brotherly love & support from Grand Lodge Brothers & fellow Masons from the Caribbean,New York, Virginia, & throughout New England… Congratulations to our new Brother Master Masons and for the exemplary showcase from the craft.
