Just 1.5 miles from our entrance is Mirror Lake State Park. Amazing kayaking, hiking and fishing here. I hit the Northwest Trail recently. It's not for the faint of heart - 2.6 miles of up and down hills through oak, pine, and maple forest with the east side of the loop being along the water. I highly recommend it! For an easy hike - check out Echo Rock trail.
