The Ice Cream Boat

The Ice Cream Boat "The Ice Cream Boat" was founded in July of 2008 and has since been serving the three bay area of Cotuit, MA. We hope to see you on the water soon!

The first model was fitted with K-Mart coolers packed with dry ice, and as some of you may remember, the ice cream was so cold that your tongue would stick to it. Since then, the boat has undergone some serious improvements. Currently we have two 350 pound "cold plate freezers" installed on both of our boats, which is capable of holding around 700 ice cream bars each. That, along with the aestheti

c improvements of a sun canopy, a hanging menu board, and a spiffy paint job, has put The Ice Cream Boat in better shape than ever. Our small, but friendly staff is dedicated to serving refreshing ice cream directly to wherever you are on the water, boat, beach, dock, etc. We do our best to carry items that are in popular demand, but if there is a product that you feel we are leaving out, please let us know.

Boys were out for a bit on South side. It’s a little rough out there and they took on a bit of water. Mom to the rescue! I pulled them out on my lunch break. If seas are calm tomorrow they will be back out!

I know people on Sandy Neck and the Spit have been looking for the boat. We had some engine issues but that’s been fixed and both boats will be out this weekend covering North and South side. Our apologies to those that have been missing the boats. I know what is like to have kids whining and wanting the ice cream boat! Nik and Greg were those whiny kids not long ago and now they are running the boats! We will be rolling out a link to an app that will allow you to track the boats whereabouts shortly and it will notify you when they are close by. Until then (hopefully Monday!) message me (Gretchen the boys mom) on our page and I will let you know where they are!
