This is The Crimson Cocoa Chalet — our cozy little corner of the White Mountains, designed to feel just like a warm mug of hot cocoa after a day of adventure.

A place where families gather around the fire pit, kids challenge each other in the game room, dogs curl up after a day of exploring, and memories are made one mountain getaway at a time. ❤️

From movie nights and mountain mornings to backyard games and fireside conversations, every space was thoughtfully designed to help guests slow down, reconnect, and enjoy time together.

Summer is one of our busiest seasons, and we’re down to just a handful of dates before the calendar is completely booked:

UPDATE:

Apparently word spread quickly through the local wildlife community. 🫠

After the Great Trash Buffet of 2026, I woke up to FIFTEEN Ring alerts overnight.

🐻 Bear checking the area to see where the free food went.
🐻 Bear inspecting the new charcoal grill on the deck.
🐻 Bear exploring the backyard.
🦝 Raccoon returning to the scene of the crime.
🦝 Raccoon inspecting the deck.
🦊 Fox sprinting through the backyard.
🐦 Hummingbird making a brief appearance.

It’s been a pretty quiet spring around here, but I guess all we had to do was leave a giant pile of trash outside to become the hottest restaurant in the White Mountains. 🦝🐻🍉

Now we’ve got guests arriving well before check-in time. 😭

At this point I’m expecting Yelp reviews from the local wildlife.

Movie Nights just got a HUGE upgrade! 🤩🎥 🍿

In March, Red House Construction hung up our 120” projector screen that had been taking up valuable real estate in our closet 😅 Unfortunately the projector I bought last summer won’t turn on 😫 Luckily I had two spare projectors at home from our Halloween days 😅
So last week I finally had the chance to bring them up, & set them up with a roku stick 🤩 We also have an outdoor projector screen that guests can use outside (they’ll need to hang it themselves & bring it inside when done) but man movie nights are going to be FUN this summer 🤩🤩🤩

In New Hampshire, the “Waterfalls of the White Mountains Road Trip” takes you on a beautiful route through the state’s most beautiful area to see 10 stunning mountain waterfalls! This scenic loop winds through the White Mountain National Forest and nearby mountain notches, with each stop showing off a different kind of waterfall. Ripley Falls drops about 100 feet down a wide, slanted rock face, while Arethusa Falls is often called the tallest waterfall in New Hampshire, falling roughly 140 feet over a rugged cliff. You can also visit Franconia Falls and Diana’s Baths, where Lucy Brook flows over smooth ledges, clear pools, and small cascades. Some stops are easy walks, while others feel more like mountain hikes, making this one of New England’s prettiest waterfall-chasing road trips.
