We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Tim Butts will be rejoining the Grand Summit family as the General Manager, effective May 27th!
Tim Butts began his hospitality career in 2013 with Hilton, where he quickly discovered a passion for the industry. From there, he worked his way through multiple departments—including housekeeping, front desk, and sales—eventually stepping into General Manager roles. This hands-on path gave him a deep appreciation for every part of hotel operations and the people who make it all come together.
While Tim is grateful for the strong foundation Hilton provided, he found himself drawn to independent properties, where he could bring a more creative and personalized approach to the guest experience. His goal has been to help create stays that feel as unique and memorable as the White Mountains themselves.
Tim has also been deeply involved in the Mount Washington Valley community. He is a graduate of the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program and continues to serve on its Board of Directors.
At the core of Tim’s leadership style is a belief that culture drives everything. He is passionate about building environments where teams feel supported, take pride in their work, and genuinely enjoy coming to work each day—because when that happens, exceptional guest experiences naturally follow.
