We have been doing some ditch and drainage work along the driveway and cabin 1. Today, we were so happy that we had that work done. Torrential rains came through and these ditches became rivers. I wasn't able to get photos of the rushing water, but my husband unclogged the pipe under the driveway and said water shot about 3 to 4 feet from the other end of the pipe.

So thankful everything worked as it was supposed to!

There are a few photos of the completed work by cabin 1 (clean straw) and one from now as comparison. The driveway ditching also had staw to protect the new grass seed but water had other ideas.

The weather has finally broke, and spring is beginning to make an appearance.

The grass is green again, the lilies are growing, other plants are poking through the ground, and the falls are magical - enhanced by the snow melt.

And so begins the work of opening the cabins and spring cleaning.

If you're looking for an early summer get away, now is the time to book

June is filled with beautiful weather, lots of wildlife visiting the property, cool mornings perfect for grabbing a sweater and enjoying coffee by the falls, and wonderful evenings by the fire pits.
