We decided to switch things up this year and instead of doing a photo contest, we are going to have YOU vote for your favorite sand sculpture located at a business!

If you vote for your favorite, you will be entered to win a Yarmouth getaway package! What is in the getaway package?! You could win a stay at The Inn at Cape Cod, a gift card to Lighthouse Keeper’s, and a gift certificate to Harvest of Barnstable!

The QR code can be found on our Sand Sculpture Trail maps and on the lawn signs in front of the sand sculptures.

AND.... you can still take pictures in front of the sand sculptures and submit them to us if you want us to share them here for you 😀 we love seeing people having fun on the trail!

Important!!

At the national seashore you won't hear the classic "beep beep" of the roadrunner, nor will you see Acme-labeled TNT or other elaborate contraptions intended to help Wile E. Coyote catch his elusive prey. But don't underestimate the cleverness, adaptability, and intention of animals to obtain food.

Feeding wild animals leads to them becoming habituated and aggressive in attempts to gain food. It might seem like benign feeding at first, but the coyote will eventually “ask” for more food, and then “demand” it aggressively — "biting the hand that feeds it."

📌 Always keep your distance.
📌 Be aware of your surroundings.
📌 Keep children close and pets leashed.
📌 Do not feed coyotes by hand or leave food out for them.
📌 Report habituated or aggressive animals to park rangers.

Visitors are reminded to NEVER feed or touch wildlife in the park. Feeding wildlife is illegal and subject to a citation (36CFR 2.2(a)(2)) and is punishable by a fine of up to $5,000.
