Bassett Lodge and Range Cafe Historic Lodge and hometown cafe located in downtown Bassett Take a step back in time at the Bassett Lodge and Range Cafe!

The lodge and cafe are currently owned and operated by Lynne Pedersen. This historical hotel originally named "Hotel Bassett" was expanded in 1949 by area ranchers. After the renovations, the hotel and cafe were frequently filled with cattlemen and cattle buyers. The owners continue to serve local cattlemen, businessmen, tourists, and anyone looking for a delicious, home-style meal or a unique, cozy place to stay.

Tis decided! Tomorrow shall bring forth chili and cinnamon rolls. Lynnie-style. (Former English teacher, give me leeway) We are changing some things, and people are not happy with all of them. Sitting here, 14 hours after arriving. 4 loads of laundry done, 4 rooms almost done...thank you Lil n Sam! And thanking everyone for our continued sussessful business. We will keep on keeping on, great food, good peeps, goofy owner, and belief! Denny is my main man rock star chef, he's cute too. Cinnamon rolls, yellow squash n potato soup, and whatever he thinks up for a burger special (his homework) tomorrow!

The ranch dressing has landed! We finally got it right, I hope. Special is Sausages on a bun or not, add what you will, including Kraut or bacon. Chicken noodle soup as well!
