Our Story.....

The home was purchased in December 2018 and we had hoped to host our first guests in time for ski season 2020 - 2021. While completing a whole home renovation we ran into many challenges, the worst being a global pandemic that halted construction for more than 11 months. The cabin has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and will sleep six, including a sleeper sofa in the living area. The ca

bin overlooks beautiful Stoney Creek which meanders through the property at the base of the mountain. We have planned a rustic cabin vibe for the interior with just a touch of Texas which is where the owners are from. Our goal will be to provide premier accommodations for the Bryce Resort which is just a short walk from the cabin. Construction finished up in early April 2021 and we hosted our first guests on Saturday April 17th. We are very proud of our accomplishment and we look forward to hosting many of you in the months to come. We will continue to post stories and updates on the adventures of Creekside Cabin at Bryce Resort.

There's just nothing like summer in the mountains of Virginia! Warm sun, cool valley breezes, and all that Lake Laura at Bryce Resort has to offer. Swimming, canoeing, and fishing are just some of the fun activities offered at this mountain oasis. Creekside Cabin is a short 8 minute drive from the lake.
