Welcome family and friends!
God has blessed us with a beautiful and peaceful retreat, which we are happy to share with others who would like to spend some quiet time with God.

Like a secret garden Hummingbird Rest is hidden away from the world.

A gated entrance and long tree lined driveway begins the process of slowing us down.

The end of the road reveals a glorious clearing, over 19 open acres, surrounded by woods,
and set apart from the cares of everyday life.​

At the center of the clearing rests two ponds totaling about 1/2 an acre with a footbridge
and waterfall connecting them. Kayaks are available if you'd like to paddle around a bit.
A gazebo in the middle of the top pond beacons you to come and stay awhile.

Across the pond from the main house (where the stewards of Hummingbird Rest Live)
is a Tiny House which is available for quiet overnight spiritual retreats.

The Red Barn is home to our flock of ducks and chickens (who free range during the day) and two super cute Nigerian Dwarf Goats.
You are welcome to come at feeding times and get to know them up close.

Behind the barn is the entrance to the Prayer Trail. Make sure you stop and read the Prayer Poles along the way. Then continue walking a wide path that goes around the entire property.
*If you walk the perimeter+the driveway it's about one mile.

Wild black raspberries, Mulberries and Mushrooms can be gathered seasonally as you stroll the paths.

There is always something to do and see here or do nothing at all.
Whichever you chose, make sure you invite the King of Kings to join you!
