Jared and the girls got the big houses out several days ago and our first guests arrived today! Ice is mostly 16-18 inches thick and as of now we are allowing you to drive out anything within reason. Yes, one ton diesels are ok!

The road is well marked and in great shape. No bridges or matts to drive over right now but that can change in a hurry.

Fishing is a bit slower yesterday and today than earlier in the week but still remains good.

Putting the new bridge to work already. Ice has been active with the big temp swings.

Finding 12-14 inches of ice in most places. Fishing continues to be excellent. Doesn’t seem to matter what bait you send down the hole.

Little warm up here midweek then cools back down nice. Hopefully pulling out the big houses late this week or early next. See you all soon!

Big houses are on the ice and fishing thanks to the Toyota FJ.
14-16 inches of ice on our road and around the cabins. Fishing has been pretty consistent. Looking forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

Things are shaping up nicely. Excavator is breaking up some piled up ice on the lakeside of the point. The first quarter mile of ice is rough as usual and we will start dragging and flooding Monday to smooth it out. After the rough stretch there is about 7-8 inches of dark smooth ice as far as you can see. Should be good going!

Still some thin spots on the bay but should be on schedule for right after Christmas! Couple of warm days this weekend but then looks like temps cool off again for the rest of December.
