Well, I hope they find the culprit. Re-posted from Bayfield Chamber. That’s about as low as you can go… I got a picture of the flag this past week. Too bad they probably didn’t have a gps tracker on it.  But then who would’ve thought…  About the only place that could go would be on a barn!

The Cabin got a new metal roof today on the front side because it was impacted by a large tree in late November 2025. They did a very good job. Unfortunately the doors that were ordered were the wrong size so that will have to be some other time when the right size comes in. If anybody would like to buy the Cool original Cabin doors complete with locks feel free to contact me and I can give you a very good price.  Original doors for sale in the comment section.

I painted about 50 mosquitoes to the side of the cabin today ( they seemed to like to land on it while I was painting ) and I inhaled one of them into my lungs. I wonder if my lungs are like a pitcher plant that kills the bug inside and uses it as an extra source of vitamins 😂. I decided to wash it down with a new New glarus beer - 10.5% ABV. That’s the kind of ABV that should be on “totally naked” beer. Lol. A new front roof is going on tomorrow which insurance only paid half of and I’m getting some new highly insulated doors put on with a couple of new Wi-Fi locks I purchased. Those guys will probably finish up the hard to reach painting at some point, but they may not have time tomorrow. Even though my one and a half gallons of Hallman Lindsay paint was at the right temperature over the winter It solidified so it’s not exactly a paint that you want to keep around for more than a few months apparently. I have a new Gallon, however.  The original cabin doors are for sale and are detailed in the comments section.

I had to teach my dog how to drive my old Z3 convertible before she tried to tricycle. She was OK with the stick shift, but she would not keep her eyes on the road when she saw a cute dog. She wasn’t impressed with the Cybertruck demo yesterday ( she thought it was too big to fit into a parking spot and she didn’t know how to play the piano while driving), but she does want to try the Batmobile. She is preparing to drive at Applefest in October where the kids scream “Look! The dog is driving! The dog is driving!”  As happened 12 years ago with my King Charles Cavalier.  This is my first dog since then.  So it’s about time this owner of this pet friendly Cabin has a dog .. 😆Adopted from a shelter and very sweet.
