Join us Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8am–4pm for breakfast, sweet treats, lunch, coffee, beer, and more on the deck.

A beautiful view, fresh air, Lake Pend Oreille, and a relaxed spot to start your morning or take a break in the afternoon. Come grab a bite, hang out for a while, and enjoy the weekend with us.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend from all of us at MacDonald’s Resort! We’re excited to share that The Birdhouse will be open this weekend for lunch on the deck! Join us Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 11 AM to 4 PM.

We’ll be serving sandwiches, flatbreads, beer, espresso, and more — perfect for enjoying the long weekend by the lake. We’ll also be announcing our expanded summer hours soon.

As we kick off another summer season on Lake Pend Oreille, we’re feeling especially grateful as we celebrate our 75th anniversary this year. Thank you to all of our customers, friends, employees, and community members who have been part of our story since 1951.

This year marks a huge milestone for us — 75 years of MacDonald’s Resort. From our family to yours, we want to say thank you.

To our customers who have made us part of your lake memories, our employees (past and present) who bring this place to life every day, and our community who has supported us through generations — we wouldn’t be here without you.

Good afternoon. Some of you are already familiar with the Bayview boat ramp. Whether you are familiar or not I would request that you go to Facebook and search for Bayview Public Ramp - Keep It Public. I have been posting a series of "what's on your mind" issues because I feel the ramp and public access to it are being jeopardized by the Kootenai County government. I would welcome your participation and if you could share the page with your circle of friends it would help our cause.
