It’s been a month tomorrow (June 22nd) since our beautiful Tushar Mountains started on fire. It started just behind our B Mountain. It grew in size covering just shy of 100,000 acres.
Our community has reached out to each other. We are so grateful no lives have been lost. Eagle Point Resort, many cabins/homes, wildlife, land, and scenic byway 153 have had the impacts of both fire and now flooding the last two days. Expecting more flash floods in the coming days.
Not the summer we had planned for or even hoped for but we are grateful to serve those in our community at the moment who need a place to be and those who have been traveling through. We are grateful for all our guests who have called, reached out, and asked how we are and how they can help. We cherish our friendships with each of you. Thank you for your kindness and support at this time.
