Shout out to Outpost on the River. We love having you close by and so do our campers.

Absolutely wonderful! I stayed with my 3 kids ages 9, 6, and 3. The campsite was so clean and peaceful. We loved watching the different wildlife, meeting the deer, listening to the river and enjoying the gorgeous views. It was wonderful walking the grounds and the hosts were the perfect balance of friendly and helpful while not being invasive. If you have an itch for going out to breakfast make sure you go 4 miles down the road to The Outpost on the River. Delicious and so friendly!

About Us

Powder Creek Ranch is 362 acres, nestled into a secluded valley, surrounded by BLM land in the Oregon Coast Range. The ranch is named for Powder Creek, a pristine year-round creek that runs the length of the ranch and beyond. Each of our large campsites offers access to the creek, a picnic table and campfire ring. The beaver pond with a variety of water fowl, friendly deer and resident elk herd are all part of the attractions and recreation.

Niagara Creek/Pheasant Creek falls is a nearby hiking trail and there are deer and elk trails to explore all over the ranch. If you feel like venturing further, the beach is nearby in Pacific City. Tillamook Cheese factory is another nearby attraction.

Powder Creek Ranch is also a working farm with cows, pigs, chickens, ducks and geese. Sometimes we have baby animals like piglets, calves and chicks at the barn to visit. We offer a variety of farm goods for sale including pasture raised pork and chickens, fresh eggs and seasonal produce.
