This is the sad part of the year, but we want to make sure that you winterize your camper so there will be no problems for you next year when you open for the season. A couple facts to keep in mind:
1. Drain all tanks: Open and drain the fresh water, gray water tank, and the black water tank.
2. Bypass the water heater: Turn the water heater bypass valves to prevent filling the tank with antifreeze.
3. Blow out lines (optional): Blow out the remaining water from the water lines.
4. Add RV antifreeze: Use RV- safe pink antifreeze through the system. Open every faucet ( hot and cold) flush the toilet, and run the shower until the pink antifreeze flows steadily. You can also pour some down each drain to protect the P- traps and the waste tanks.
