Hi Watitoh Alumni!

I’ve loved connecting with so many current camp parents and our 2027 TICs, Waiters and JCs over the past few weeks, and I wanted to introduce myself to the alumni I haven't met yet!

I’m Liz, and I am thrilled to be stepping in as Director at Watitoh. Camp has been my passion since I was eight years old. I started as a camper at Camp Vega, and after working as a teacher and behavior analyst (BCBA) in NYC, I returned to the industry—first back at Vega, then as the Staffing Director at Camp Wicosuta, before finding my home at Watitoh. During the off-season, I live in Brooklyn with my husband, CJ, and our two daughters, Mia and Penelope.

I am deeply committed to upholding Watitoh's values and traditions. I would love to connect with you to answer any questions, and hear your thoughts and memories. Please reach out anytime at [email protected].

I am also thrilled to share that we will be hosting a Watitoh "Family Reunion" the weekend of August 27-29th, 2027! This will be a special mix of a traditional reunion and family camp, open to all current and past Watitoh campers and their families. Stay tuned for more details and please reach out to Kalib at [email protected] to let him know if you are interested in joining us!

Best,

Liz

Why Watitoh? Because 80-year-old us would give anything for one more summer 🥹☀️

The people, the traditions, the chaos, the memories… there really is no place like Watitoh.

Happy 💚🤍

✨ ✨

At the end of Memory Lane, we shared a special throwback video of our 2026 TIC 2s & Waiter 2s - and now it’s time to share it with all of our Camp Watitoh families!💚

Our Waiters & TICs are such an important part of keeping our traditions alive. They’re incredible role models and leaders, and we’re so proud to have watched them grow from campers into the amazing people they are today.

Watitoh says THANK YOU!
