Met with Ann DeLong last week to give her an Inn tour. She loved it!! Yay🤗Ann is running for Town Council on NovemberThe Peacock Inn will host a fundraiser for her campaign. Gratis! I plan to donate Inn to other causes monthly. Inn is a gift from God and I want to share some of this blessing. I am in the process of finalizing 11 charities . I will share when these future gatherings have been finalized. ( Check out the cool peacock lamp behind her)

The Peacock Inn host our first paying guests Saturday night!! Eric and Nicole drove in from Greensboro for a race in Lynchburg. I served breakfast at 6 am, French toast and bacon, as Eric had an early start time. Nicole wandered thru the house, snapping pics of antiques and art!! They enjoyed the covered screened porch at days end, listening to the player piano and loved how peaceful the Inn is. Thank you for staying with us and I hope you will come again soon!

One of the last chilly mornings …Got my propane fireplace working in the Red Rose Den. I plan to hang out in this cozy room this morning and tackle a mound of paperwork. This is also a perfect room for a Bachelor Party, or a weekly Sports party featuring our large screen TV. BYOB and enjoy a great room at a fraction of cost of watching the game in a bar. We can provide mixers, ice, and hot/ cold appetizers. Smoking allowed on screened back porch. Included in room rate is a sleeper and twin ottoman so you don’t have to drive at game’s end. And your hot breakfast will be served any time you choose. How will you enjoy this den?
