Welcome to our home that is 1 mile to Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and approximately 1 mile from the town of Beech Mountain. Here you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding and hiking trails (2 of which are only a block away). Nearby Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain provide more opportunities for outdoor activities and plenty of dining establishments. If you want to just stay at home, enjoy the deer taking their morning and evening strolls through the yard. Friends and Family can come and enjoy this spacious 4 Bedroom/3 Bathroom house without feeling like you are right on top of anybody. The upstairs master suite has a king size bed, recliner to relax, and its own full bathroom with updated walk in shower. Outside of the master suite, there is a loft with a couch and another recliner to read and look out the massive windows. On the main level are two additional bedrooms, each with their own smart tvs and queen beds. Both of these rooms have access to a full bathroom. The living room has a full stone wall with a built in gas fireplace to cozy up and watch your shows on another smart tv. There is also a full kitchen and dining area that can seat up to 10 people. Go downstairs into the finished basement, where you will find bunk beds for the littles, and another queen size bed, both sharing a full bathroom with walk in shower. There is also a full washer and dryer down there to help clean up from your outdoor activities. The well appointed kitchen is stocked with many small appliances that you would have at home. This includes a microwave, blender, toaster, Keurig k-cup coffee maker, Cuisinart drip coffee maker, and a crockpot. There are plenty of dishes, cups, and silverware for your group to enjoy a home cooked meal. Speaking of home cooked meal, there are many pots and pans to cook your meals inside, or enjoy cooking outside on the propane grill. Outside on the large deck, you will be able to relax in one of the adirondack chairs, or maybe even enjoy one of your meals at the outdoor table. Go around to the back of the house, where you will find a firepit, perfect for making smores or sitting around and telling great stories. There is also a tire swing that the kids can enjoy out back. We have provided the essentials, such as towels and linens for all beds and guests staying. Also, we have provided starter sets of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, body soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher pods, q-tips, and soap. All tvs are smart tvs, so please bring your passwords and enjoy your shows while you relax after skiing. There is wifi throughout the house with quick speeds of 300mbps up and down. This house is at 4600', and as such it does not have air conditioning. With the windows open in the summer, it provides a very nice breeze and the hottest we've seen it inside is 75 degrees. There are ceiling fans in every room, and also portable fans to stick in the windows to help with airflow.
