One of my favorite parts of Hidden Honey isn’t the houses.
It’s the guest book.
This week, I was reading a note from a couple in their 70s who stayed with us in Beech Mountain, and honestly, it stopped me in my tracks.
After decades together, they wrote about the importance of never stopping dating each other. Never stopping making time for each other. Never taking each other for granted.
In a world obsessed with finding the right person, they reminded us that the real magic is continuing to choose the same person over and over again.
That’s what Hidden Honey has always been about.
Not the themed rooms.
Not the mountain views.
Not the amenities.
Those things are fun.
But the real goal is helping couples create the kind of relationship that still feels connected, playful, and intentional decades later.
The kind where you’re still taking trips together in your 70s.
Still laughing together.
Still making memories.
Still choosing each other.
If there’s one Hidden Honey goal, it’s probably that.
A relationship that keeps getting better with time.
