A New Chapter for The Hills Haven 🏡❤️

​To our wonderful community and past guests,
​Gavin and I are writing this to let you know that we have officially sold The Hills Haven.
​Hosting you over the years has been an incredible journey. It has been a true honor to assist you in planning your stays and to see our home become a part of your memories. We are so grateful for every review, every return visit, and every kind word you’ve shared with us.

​This decision was incredibly difficult and one we did not make lightly. Unfortunately, due to my health, we knew it was time to pass the torch so I can focus on getting better. We will miss the daily joy of connecting with you all, but we leave with hearts full of gratitude.

We are thrilled to announce that The Hills Haven is in excellent hands with its new owners, Eva and Chris Mackowski and the home will be now named Trails End Hideaway.

​Eva and Chris are bringing years of hosting experience and industry knowledge to the table. We are confident that they will not only continue the 5-star standard we strove for but will use their incredible talent to make the guest experience even better.

​We wish Eva and Chris the very best success in this new adventure! Thank you all for being part of our story.

Busy weekend at The Haven!

After 3 years we finally got around to refinishing the deck and installing string lights.

We also added TV's to both guest rooms.

As hosts we are constantly doing projects to ensure our guests have the best experience at the house.

✨ One of our wonderful guests recently shared these amazing photos from their stay!

🐾 Meet Rocky the raccoon — he’s a familiar face at the feeder in the evenings. Born nearby, he’s chosen the woods around the house as his home. Rocky is completely harmless, but always entertaining to watch from the deck. You may notice he’s missing a paw from an old snare injury, but he has healed beautifully and gets around just fine.

🦌 We also often have fawns tucked away in the yard by their mamas. The does love using our backyard as a safe nursery while they graze. The local herd knows the sound of their feed bowl being filled and will come running. Some are even curious enough to wander close while guests are quietly enjoying the firepit.

💚 Nature here has a way of making every visit extra special.
