It’s like Christmas morning every day around here!
Waking up right as the sun comes up, first thing we do is peek out the window to see how much more the fall colors decided to show off overnight. Every morning feels like unwrapping a new surprise, brighter reds, deeper golds, and those perfect glowing hillsides that make you stop and stare. Fall is about to really start putting on a show, and we’re here for every bit of it 😆🍁✨

If this picture doesn’t make you want to grab a hoodie, roast a marshmallow, and camp under these trees bursting with fall colors… then we might have to reevaluate our friendship 😂🍁
I mean seriously, the trees are starting to show off, the air smells like adventure, and the whole place looks like Mother Nature’s Instagram flex.

Happy Sunday, friends!

Just had the most perfect weekend here at the campground, cool mornings, golden light through the trees, and those absolute ideal campfire temperatures at night. Camping season is definitely NOT over yet!
Get out and soak up these fall colors while they’re here. Nothing beats a crackling fire under a canopy of reds, oranges, and yellows.

Quick nature question for you: Why do the smaller/younger trees seem to go into fall colors earlier? The one in this picture is already in full glory while the bigger ones around it are still holding onto more green. Anyone know the reason?

Hope you’ve got an amazing weekend lined up, we sure do! The fall colors are rolling in strong and every day the trees get a little brighter. But seriously… who gave these trees permission to just drop their leaves all over the ground 😆
We’re out here enjoying the show and sweeping up after them like they’re messy roommates.

🍁 Oct 2nd Fall Color Check‑In! 🍂
We’re definitely starting to see more and more trees hitting full color out here, lots of reds showing up and the hillsides are staring to glow.
And fair warning… if you don’t like pictures of fall colors, this is your official notice to unsubscribe for the next month 🤣😂 because we LOVE our fall colors here at the campground and we LOVE sharing them with you.

Although there’s still plenty of camping season left, you can definitely feel the shift. 🍁 The fall colors are really starting to pop, the sunsets hit a little different this time of year, and everything just feels a bit more special. But with the good comes a little sadness too. Even though we closed the pool for use a week after Labor Day, it doesn’t truly sink in that summer is over until we tuck her in for the winter. Something about seeing that cover go on just makes it official.
Here’s to soaking up every last bit of fall before we say goodbye to another great season. 🌅🍂

Well shoot… another Workamper pulled out. This stings a little because Steve and Debbie were absolutely amazing this season. They showed up and jumped in with both feet, and it didn’t take long before they became one of our campers’ favorite couples in the park. I’m not sure we’ve ever had so many people tell us how incredible a Workamper couple is and honestly, why wouldn’t they be? Their hospitality shined all season long. And the best part? They’re coming back next year.
Steve and Debbie, until we see you again (pretty soon), we wish you the very best travels and can’t wait to welcome you back for another great season.

🍁 Bellaire Fall Festival Day!
Our very own Cameo will be downtown today at the Bellaire Fall Festival selling her adorable, hand‑knitted plushies. If you’re in the area, stop by her booth and say hello — she’d love to see familiar faces.

Store Update:
The store will be closed for the day while she’s at the festival. Josh will still be on property, so if you need any assistance, just call the office number and he’ll be happy to come help.

🍂 It’s a perfect fall day to support local makers, hope to see you out there!

Our first Seasonal Campers Potluck was a total blast!
Great food, great company, and plenty of fun stories being passed around. We will definitely be doing more of this!

Side note, we still have 3 Seasonal spots open for the ’27 season, so if you’ve been thinking about joining our crew, now’s the time!
