🏨❤️ A Little Reminder About Staying at a Hotel!

When we tell you at check-in, “Please let us know if you need anything or if there’s anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable,” we truly mean it!

Things don't always go perfectly, and we understand that. Maybe something isn't working right, something isn't quite to your liking, or you have a concern. Please let us know while you're still here! We genuinely want the opportunity to help, fix what we can, and make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

It's difficult to address a concern after you've checked out when we didn't know there was a problem in the first place. We absolutely welcome honest feedback and appreciate your surveys, but we'd love the chance to make things right before you leave!

You're not bothering us by speaking up. That's what we're here for! ❤️ We'd much rather have the opportunity to help than find out afterward that your stay could have been better.

Something I’ve been thinking about lately… 🤔

I’m not sure why so many people seem to believe that hotels should be the one business expected to lower their prices, even while inflation affects virtually every business everywhere.

People appreciate clean rooms, comfortable beds, a great breakfast, friendly staff, and genuine customer service. They want a well-maintained property and employees who go above and beyond to make their stay enjoyable. And we absolutely want to provide those things!

But all of that comes with a cost. Labor, food, utilities, insurance, supplies, maintenance, and just about everything else it takes to operate a hotel have gone up in price, too.

Somehow, there seems to be an expectation that hotels should absorb those rising costs while still delivering the same level of service, cleanliness, and amenities — all at a lower price.

Quality, cleanliness, good food, and great customer service don't happen for free. They take hard work, dedicated employees, time, and money.

We understand that everyone is feeling the effects of higher prices. We feel it, too. We do our best to offer fair rates and a great experience, because we want people to enjoy their stay and feel their money was well spent.

But perhaps it's time to recognize that a hotel room is more than just four walls and a bed. There's a whole team of people working behind the scenes to make that experience happen. ❤️

Just a reminder. Open swim is only until 8PM and we require a phone call prior to coming as we don't always allow open swim. Especially if we are full as our registered hotel guests take priority for space in the pool. Thank you.

'Tis the season for the box elder bugs. Box elder bugs are nuisance pests. They do not sting or transmit disease, and are generally not known to bite, though there are rare reports of defensive biting. These are not roaches nor are they a sign that things are not clean. These bugs are a fact of life in our area!
